1.Infographic

The concept behind the How To Make A Cup of Earl Grey Tea Infographic was to show how to make a cup of tea through a series of five simple steps using text and graphics. The color scheme is kept to a simple bold blue, bright yellow, and lovely pinks. The heading utilizes an elegant script handwriting to tie in the aesthetic. The audience is people looking to learn how to make tea or tea enthusiasts. To accomplish this task, I created graphics that reflected the text next to it and an eye-catching title for the infographic.

2.Florence & The Machine Poster

The concept behind the Florence & The Machine posters is to communicate a concert date while using typographic elements and graphics to draw a viewer in. To accomplish this task, Letraset letterforms were placed on a paper and then scanned into the computer and placed around the page. Due to the alt-rock nature of the band, the posters visually have a funky vibe. The color scheme is kept at red, white, and black. The audience is people who follow Florence & The Machine and people who listen to alt-rock.

3.Essential Oil Branding/Packaging

SeaOil is a fictitious essential oil company. To accomplish this task, I created the packaging for the box that the bottle comes in, as well as a candle packaging. I also created a QR code that will bring the potential buyer to a PDF giving more information about essential oils and scents that can be mixed to create other scents. The color scheme is very earthy with tans, pinks, and a dark green and the graphics are kept very illustrative to reflect the earths landscapes. The audience is adults who shop for essential oils and are health conscious. They also enjoy products that are aestheticlly modern and pleasing on the eye.

4.Tea Time Icons

The concept behind this icon set was that I wanted to make them all about tea and tea related things. The color scheme is inspired by The Grand Budapest Hotel movie directed by Wes Anderson. To accomplish this task, green is used sporadically to represent green tea, mint, lime, and matcha green tea. They are clean but also have a hand drawn look to them. The audience is aimed at young teens and adults who use social media, tea companies in their social media, and as tea icons. The color palette is pink, purples, and green.

5.Florence & The Machine Poster Series

The concept behind the Florence & The Machine Tour posters is to communicate tour dates while using typographic elements and graphics to draw a viewer in. To accomplish this task, four different tours were chosen and graphics were used to convey metaphors within the tour songs. Due to the alt-rock nature of the band, the posters visually have a funky vibe. The color schemes vary based on each tour theme. Each tour theme is very different from the rest to give visual interest in each poster. The audience is people who follow Florence & The Machine and people who listen to alt-rock.

6.13th STORY Identity System

The concept behind 13th STORY is a multi-disciplinary design studio that uses contextual forces to give a sense of place and meaning to the environments where people live, learn, work and play. Giving voice and storytelling to regional culture through contemporary design is at the heart of 13th STORY. To accomplish this task, I created a logo, stationery, and business cards. I used a CMYK color palette to reflect that it is a design studio. A modern sans-serif font is used to keep the branding modern and simple. The audience is anyone looking to get design work done by 13th STORY and clients.

8.The Very Sad Blueberry Children's Book

The audience is young children ages 2-6 and adults/parents who are looking for a book to help children to be comfortable with who they are. 9.Flora Period App

A period tracker is a very important application that many women wish they had that did more than just present a calendar. With technology being a huge resource and a great place to keep dates/memos/notes- this is the perfect opportunity to help women get the resources they need to help them, more so than JUST tracking the dates of their cycle. This app will help connect women to resources such as local doctors, websites, symptom tracker, recommendations, and calendar to track periods. The audience of this project is 12-45ish year olds who have a monthly cycle. They have a desire to track their monthly cycle and to find resources for questions they may have.

10.The Little Book of Pens and Ink

The theme for this booklet that I chose was Noodler’s Ink. Noodler’s Ink is a company that provides buyers with inks and ink pens to use for multiple uses. To accomplish this concept, I used text from the website and used images that I had created using Noodler’s Ink myself. I used ink swatches and compared types of black ink. Graph paper was used to give an office or mechanical feeling. The audience is 18-70 year old men and women who are interested in pens and inks. They may have an interest in Noodler’s Ink and how this company got started. They may also have an interest in writing and drawing with pens and inks.
